Project Management

Effective project management is central to the success of building design and construction. From inception, to client occupation and use, effective project management requires a systematic, integrated and detailed approach. Such an approach allows issues concerning final product, quality, cost and delivery time to be addressed in a consistent manner. We:

  • assess the client's actual needs
  • prepare a detailed brief which will accurately reflect these needs in building terms
  • assess and evaluate different sites
  • prepare feasibility studies
  • prepare designs to meet the client's brief, budget and programme
  • negotiate with local authorities to obtain statutory consents
  • manage the construction process in a way which is responsive to changes required by the client whilst evaluating cost and programme implications
  • monitor building performance to ease the initial period of occupation and to ensure the finished building 'fits'
  • Fine tune the finished product in light of client feedback and in-use performance.
